A few random things I wanted to share with you:
I was looking at this week’s update on PostSecret, and I found one of the best postcards I had seen in a while. So I had to share it here with you. Quite fitting for me, don’t you think?

Thought you might enjoy that. I did, as sad is it is.
Another thing I wanted to share with you is a trailer for a new independent film called The Mind of Henry Lime. From the trailer, this film looks positively hilarious, and the movie recently won the prize of Best Feature Comedy at the SMTV Film Festival in India. It seems to be one of those unassuming comedies: funny because the subject matter itself is comedic, not because the film-makers are trying too hard to make people laugh. You can find out more information about the film on its website, but take a look at the trailer yourself:
Hope you got a good laugh out of that one, it amuses me every time I see it. Thanks to Antoinette for passing it along.
Mark Kuznicki wrote a pretty thoughtful post on Net Neutrality in Canada, a topic I don’t quite know much about but have been learning about slowly over the past few days. And since his post was spurred by a recent segment Amber Mac did on CityNews, and because I’m a huge fan of Amber’s, here’s her segment. It’s a good primer as to why net neutrality is important.
There you go. Now go and spread the good word.
Before I close off here, has anyone used GoPlan just yet? I haven’t had the time to play around with it this week, but I would love to hear from anyone that may have already had a chance to use it.

As someone who works on this issue from the skeptical side, allow me to recommend the blog of our coalition, Hands Off the Internet. We tackle a lot of the technical issues there, especially overlooked angles. Our position: We should focus on universal broadband instead of preemptive regulations to solve a non-existent problem.
Plus, there’s a good video here (that we’re not responsible for):

Hello!
I wrote & directed The Mind of Henry Lime and I wanted to thank you wholeheartedly for your nice comments. Now it’s near the end of March 2007 and we’ve just begun to present the film to film fests and distributors - and fans on our tour (I’m in Bright Blue Gorilla & we tour constantly) - and you’re one of the first to make a posting about our little film. (Robyn will be thrilled too when she sees your post.)
Thanks and keep in touch!

That’s definitely an interesting take on the issue LookMaNoHands. I’ll definitely read more on your site later today and explore the issue a bit.
And Michael, I’m super glad you enjoyed the comments. I’m really intrigued and interested in seeing the film: I’m really glad Antoinette passed along the link. Do let me know when you’re in Toronto!
